Resource Limit Reached error

If you are getting the following error any of our Linux based Shared hosting accounts:

Resource Limit Is Reached

The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later.

The error message you get means that your website is hitting one or more of the shared hosting account's resource (CPU/memory) protections in place, please note that this issue is NOT related to bandwidth consumption for which we do not have any restrictions as per our plan details. The resource protection is in place, to protect all shared hosting accounts hosted on the same server, from impacting each other.

If your site is consistently hitting our resource protections, we advise that you look into improving the efficiency of any software you're running on your account. This 99% of the time will permanently fix the issue, and you will not see the resource limit error.

If you are using applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento or any other open source scripts, please refer to the app's web site for more information on how you can optimize the performance of your website, and decrease your website load (plugins such as dynamic Caching are a good start).

In addition if you are using 3rd party plugins, those might be causing heavy load, and you may want to consider disabling them as a test.

If you are using WordPress a lot of time such issue is related to 3rd party plugins, you can review the following WP plugin which can help you identify what is causing your WP to bog down and run into load issues:
